Effective date: October 16, 2026
This website, its chatbot, appointment forms, email and social-media channels are not emergency services and are not monitored continuously.
1. Call 911 for an Emergency
Call 911 immediately in the United States when you or another person may be experiencing a life-threatening emergency or immediate danger.
Examples include, but are not limited to:
- Severe chest pain or pressure.
- Severe difficulty breathing, choking or bluish lips.
- Signs of stroke, such as sudden facial drooping, arm weakness, confusion or difficulty speaking.
- Uncontrolled bleeding.
- Loss of consciousness, seizure or sudden severe confusion.
- Severe allergic reaction with swelling or breathing difficulty.
- Suspected overdose, poisoning or dangerous medication reaction.
- Serious injury, major burn or severe head trauma.
- Thoughts, plans or actions creating an immediate risk of suicide or harm to another person.
- Any condition that appears rapidly worsening or life-threatening.
Do not wait for a chatbot or website response, email reply or appointment callback. Do not drive yourself if doing so may be unsafe. Follow the instructions of the 911 dispatcher.
If you are outside the United States, call the emergency number for your location.
4. Non-Emergency After-Hours Matters
For a non-emergency concern when the clinic is closed, call 305-885-8983 and leave a clear message with your name, telephone number and a brief request for a callback. Do not leave detailed medical information in voicemail unless instructed.
A message does not guarantee an immediate response. The team will return the call as soon as reasonably possible during operating hours.
5. Appointment and Contact Forms
Do not use the chatbot, an appointment form or a general website form for:
- Emergencies.
- Rapidly worsening symptoms.
- Medication reactions requiring urgent evaluation.
- Suicidal thoughts with immediate danger.
- Detailed or highly sensitive medical information.
Submitting a form does not establish medical care and does not confirm an appointment.
6. Clinical Research Participants
If you are enrolled in a clinical study, follow the emergency and after-hours instructions in your informed-consent document and contact the study team using the study-specific number. Call 911 for immediate danger or a life-threatening emergency.
7. General Disclaimer
This notice provides general emergency-routing information. It cannot list every emergency and does not replace professional judgment. When uncertain whether a situation is an emergency, it is safer to call 911 or seek immediate evaluation.
